HOW DO WE WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE THE BEST RESULTS?
The best results come when I truly understand your business and how to work within your culture. I limit my number of clients so that I can get to know you, focus on your business, and be available when you need me.
HOW DO WE DETERMINE IF WE'RE A GOOD FIT?
I'm not afraid to admit that I'm not equally skilled in all areas. I collaborate with you up front to determine fit, so that you don’t waste time or money. Where I can best help will depend partly on what skill sets you already have in-house, the maturity of your organization, and other factors. Where needed, I can leverage my network of specialists.
MANAGEMENT v. LEGAL SERVICES?
You can engage me for management consulting services alone or with general counsel/IP services. I will consider, but less often accept, engagements for legal services alone. Management consulting services are provided through Expero LLC, and legal services are provided through Kaplan Legal LLC.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
I offer flexible rates and tailor them to your needs. They range from fixed flat fee, to flat fee plus hourly fee, to hourly fee. I generally do not accept equity compensation.
WHAT IF IT ISN'T WORKING OUT?
I want satisfied clients. You are relying on me to get the job done and for good judgment; I trust you will exercise good judgment too. If you are not satisfied with the services you may terminate them at any time without any further obligation.
